We never expected any of this. And we are grateful for everything it has given us.
On Saturday, 19 December, we will take the stage at The Assembly in Christchurch for the last ever Butlers headline show.
We’ve been incredibly lucky to spend the last ten-plus years doing something we love alongside people we love.
There is no easy way to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of our lives. But before we call it a day, we owe it to ourselves, and to the people who have supported us from the beginning, to have one last dance.
For one night in our hometown, we will play the songs that defined the journey. The songs that got us here. The songs that became yours as much as they were ours. We’ll close the chapter at Le Currents, a festival that Walt created 6 years ago with the amazing Trademark Live Team.
